Chris Battista is your Local REALTOR®!

Having been a resident of Western North Carolina for over 44 years, Chris knows this area like his own backyard. Chris spent most of his childhood living in Flat Rock and graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1988. Many things have changed in the area over the past 4 decades, but Chris knows that this area is still one of the best places to live in the world and is grateful for the opportunities and experiences he’s had living here. Chris has lived in Henderson, Transylvania, Buncombe and Polk Counties.

Chris spent his college years attending North Carolina State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Textile and Apparel Management and was President of Sigma Nu Fraternity. After college Chris spent 12 successful years in the home fashion industry as the Director of Licensing and National Sales for one of Henderson County's largest employers.

In 2005, Chris switched careers and became a full time Real Estate Broker. Chris has consistently been one of the top real estate producers in the both the region and for Beverly-Hanks & Associates with over 400 properties sold. Experience makes a difference!

Chris is married to his wonderful wife Annie, who assists him on a full-time basis with day to day Real Estate responsibilities. Annie is also a North Carolina licensed Real Estate Broker. When not working, Chris and Annie are big gardeners and love to tend their vegetable and flower gardens at their home in Hendersonville or slipping away to enjoy the beauty and natural environment on the lake at their home in Lake Adger.

Western North Carolina offers an abundance of natural beauty and amenities. Chris loves the great outdoors and enjoys fishing, camping, paddling, cycling, hiking and swimming.

Chris enjoys being involved as a professional leader in the community. In the past Chris has served as the President of the North Carolina Mountains MLS, serving Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson and Transylvania Counties. Chris has served as the President of the Hendersonville Board of REALTORS, as a North Carolina Association of REALTORS Director, and has served on the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce." Chris is a lifetime member of Historic Flat Rock, Inc., an organization which works to preserve historic homes, views and land in the Village of Flat Rock and surrounding areas.
